of regional talent to bring forward something entirely new. For this week’s Select we have a live experimental set recorded by Azzam AlHassan aka Kadisa.
Azzam is a Kuwait-based Sudanese producer and multi-instrumentalist. Inspired by a fellow Kuwaiti duo, Bloomtribe who’ve been making electronic music for the past couple of years. Kadisa mostly focuses now re-interpreting electronic music and decimating mold when it comes to live performances. This approach landed him several regional appearances in cities like Dubai and Beirut.
AlHassan’s current live setup is made up of an Elektron Monomachine, Arturia Drumbrute, Korg Minilogue, Korg MS-20 and Korg Volca Sample. The Monomachine is the centre-piece of the setup and Kadisa’s weapon of choice.
