It’s always great to feature a producer/DJ who took their career a step beyond just putting out music. You might have heard of Majd ‘MAYHM’ Alam through his many releases on different regional labels or through his own imprint, FeedASoul records, which he co-founded with friend and artist Patrick ‘Patch’ Nakhle to become one of the most prominent regional imprints, serving as a platform for Arab artists and even some European talents.
MAYHM’s Select this week is an incredibly coherent sequence of mellow, jazzy and laidback house, definitely unlike anything we’ve featured before. Majd treads through tracks from Marcellus Pittman, Theo Parrish, Tony Allen, Max Graef and more to create an hour of audio sunshine that makes you want to grab a cocktail and head to the nearest pool.
