We welcome one of Egypt’s finest - MOAD aka Mostafa Adel - to play the fourth episode of Houseplant. If you don’t know who he is, you’re not to be blamed. Although MOAD is one of the earliest Egyptian DJs to get into the micro-house sound, he has never been in search of the spotlight, instead spending more time locked in his studio mixing and producing music. We stumbled upon him at one of Egypt’s renowned parties, outs:de, where he kicked it off with jazzy hip hop and house. This is when we knew we wanted him to come play in our jungle. In this set, MOAD showcased a more minimal sound than the one he played at outs:de, with a smooth flow and impeccable mixing.
