While Dubai’s nightlife reputation always shied away from one that boasts underground sensibility, with clubs instead choosing to always go flashier and bigger, a small number of venues emerged with the intent to turn things around for the city. However, a handful of venues recently surfaced with the purpose of establishing equilibrium between commercial and music-oriented experiences.

The most recent, and the biggest of these raving experiences to emerge has been The Grid, a monthly pop up event occuring at the massive 50,000 sq.ft venue Soundstage that features a capacity of up to 5000 people. Opened last July by Dubai promoters Nobox, The Grid brought in a variety of the finest international DJs to grace Soundstage's ridiculously great sound system. Now The Grid have one ace up their sleeve as they’ll teaming up with Boiler Room to host the streaming platform’s first ever warehouse event in the region on Thursday, October 31st.

The lineup for the event will feature six artists from six different Middle Eastern countries like the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon, Morocco and Iran in addition to a closing set by veteran German duo Booka Shade. Artists performing in order of appearance leading up to Booka Shade’s live set will be Dubai-based German artist Aaron Kim aka (Tacit) who’ll perform one of his semi-modular live sets, following him up will be Bahrain’s Hameed, Lebanese The Grand Factory resident Rita Haddad, Dubai’s Analog Room residents Siamak Amidi and Shemroon, Lebanon’s Fantôme de Nuit boss Nesta, The Grid co-founder MadLou (Live), Moroko Loko’s Amine K and Booka Shade.
