With live music platforms and channels popping up left and right across the globe, and most recently the Middle East, only a handful of the regionals manage to nail a formula that’s both visually and acoustically pleasing while also managing to bring in the biggest and best talents. Egypt’s newest channel - Kickback Live - managed to nail this marriage of music and visuals with a particular focus on the beauty of live performances. Their aim? Connecting regional cultures through music and to highlight the music scene in the MENA region.
Between December of this year and March 2020, Kickback Live are set to release live sessions, interviews and behind the scenes footage by the following 12 artists/bands; Youssra El Hawary, Almena, JadaL, Sara Moullablad, Do’souqa, Mauve, Abyusif, Dokkan, Hawas, Hussein Gamal, Abdelrahman Roshdy, and Hawidro. There will undoubtedly be more to come from KBL after their impressive starting roster, so keep your eyes peeled for them in 2020.
