Amir Hedayah is an award-winning Egyptian composer and director for film and television. In addition to coming from a musical family, Hedayah also studied at the Conservatoire de Musique D'Alexandrie and Helwan University's Faculty of Music Education in Cairo. A couple of years ago, Hedayah began a collaboration with Bobby Beck, ex-Pixar member and co-founder of Animation Mentor and Artella, an animation platform. Hedayah is the recipient of many rewards, and recently recognized with two more renowned awards for his work in two different projects - in the same weekend. 

On November 17th, he premiered his most recent work "Thistle One", an animated short film, at at the 2018's CTN Animation Expo in Burbank, Los Angeles. To give you an idea of how much of an achievement this is, only five other animated films, some Academy Award qualified, were shown. 

Amir also produced the original score for a film titled "Telephone", by Syrian filmmakers Muhammad Bayazid and Samah Safi Bayazid. This won best original soundtrack at the International Festival of Educational and Spiritual Film (FICEE) in Spain.
