Launched in 2021, MDLBeast’s XP Music Futures is a first of its kind music conference in the region, dedicated to fueling the initiatives and innovations shaping the region’s burgeoning music industry, bringing together experienced professionals and artists to connect through panels, discussions, workshops and more.

XP Music Futures has recently announced partnering up with a board of trusted advocates and advisors who will pave the way for the conference with their experience, as well as introducing new initiatives to the program focusing on talent, impact, scene and innovation as the main pillars.

The board of advisors are set to include the likes of LA-based artist, musician and technophile Arabian Prince, music producer and curator Saud Alturki, founder of Los Angeles-based record label Brij Entertainment, Marcela Rada, a talented sound engineer and college professor specialized in immersive audio; Natasha Stambuli, digital media specialist with a passion for witnessing the African culture and music scene elevated on the global map; and UAE-based Karima Damir, regional music and entertainment mogul and head of A&R and Marketing at Sony Music Middle East.

Meanwhile, the XP advocates include entrepreneur and founder of Saudi clothing brand Proud Angeles and fashion consultancy Proud X, Mohammed Bajbaa who will be joining the Board, as well as Jara who’s joining as one of the first Saudi female rappers. DJ Spce Boi also returns to Riyadh this year to join XP Music Futures Board, further strengthening ties in the regional music scene.

“The ultimate objective of XP is to accelerate the development and transformation of the music landscape across the Middle East,” said Nada Alhelabi, XP Director. “We are grateful to be driving, crafting and optimizing wonders into our world.” “Our trusted Board of Advocates and Advisors serve one way for us to stay connected to the communities as best as we could and deliver another great edition of valuable cultural and music exchange, tangible progress and inspire unlimited innovation.”

This year's program will include an ‘Innovations’ track which will be discussing the rapid-tech enhancements happening with Web3. ‘Talent’ will be discovering ways to establish a career in music, while ‘Scene’ will focus on reviving the music economy through a series of panels, workshops, and masterclasses. Lastly, ‘Impact’ will be focusing on initiating a conversation around music, mental health, well-being, and representation.

XP Music Futures will kickstart the loudest week of Riyadh on November 28-30, ahead of mega-festival SOUNDSTORM, commencing right after the event.
