Utrecht’s Le Guess Who? – a festival dedicated to amplifying musical acts from all around the world - has just announced the guest curators and first-wave lineup for its 2024 edition, taking place from November 7th to the 10th. 

Bringing together a mammoth lineup of over 100 regional and international artists to perform across 20 venues in Utretch’s city centre, this year’s guest curators include Pakistani Grammy-winner artist Arooj Aftab, renowned Japanese psych-rock band Bo Ningen, Paris-based DJ and producer Crystallmess, Nicolas Jaar’s electronic trio DARKSIDE, Guatemalan cellist and vocalist of avant-garde music collective Amor Muere, Mabe Fratti, and London’s club night series Touching Bass.

For her program at Le Guess Who?, Arooj Aftab curated a stellar lineup featuring California-based activist and surrealist blues poet Aja Monet, Egyptian singer, composer and music producer Dina El Wedidi, Syrian/Lebanese alt-pop group Bedouin Burger, London-based Saudi/Bahraini DJ Nooriyah, multi-instrumentalist, neo-soul artist and rapper Meshell Ndegeocello, and more.

Meanwhile, the festival’s 2024 general program features Palestinian producer Al Nather and rapper Shabjdeed, along with Montreal-based Lebanese DJ/producer Liliane Chlela, Andalusian string quarter Flare, and more.
