Egypt’s nightlife has been seeing some serious expansion to cities besides Cairo and the North Coast – parties are now popping up in places like Gouna, Fayoum, Sinai, and even Siwa. Making their way among Egypt’s vast party promoters and event organizers are Yuma Festival, who are offering a two-day musical extravaganza on the 24th and 25th of February in Sinai.
Yuma are aiming to provide a new concept for the electronic music-enthusiasts out there, offering a diverse line-up ranging from melodic, downtempo, and organic, to groovier sounds like house and minimal. The party is set to be hosted in two different locations; with the first day at Le Meridien Dahab resort which will be dedicated to housing live acts such as Husa&Zeyada, Balqeis, and Shunu.
The second day will be hosted at Al-Tawaillat Mountain for the relatively “harder” styles of music, which sees international stars Einmusic, Darin Epsilon, and Toto Chiavetta hitting the decks, joined by local heroes Ahmed Samy and Al Sharif.
The festival is shaping up to be more than just a music event, with various activities, Sinai-inspired merchandise, food, and drinks to be offered. For more information, hit up @yumafestivaleg on Instagram or contact 01015957649.
