Qatari-Lebanese collective One Day At A Time, aka ODAAT, are bringing back their famous house and disco party concept ‘Rendez-Vu’ with an epic season opening at Chotto Matte in Doha on October 18th.
Founded by Lebanese DJ Joe Abou Rjaily, ODAAT is a community-based collective that has been leading the charge in fortifying the clubbing scene in Qatar, hosting electronic events with inclusive lineups that put a spotlight on local, regional and international talents in equal measure. Over the past few years, ODAAT’s parties have welcomed a roster of notable electronic acts like Romax, Space Motion, Kasango, Yamil, Thimble and Clemente, Manuel De La Mare, Oliver Dollar and Was Bou Malham, aka Gharam Electric.
The idea of the ‘Rendez-Vu’ series was created to offer a different yet fresh nightlife experience, focusing on revitalizing the house and disco scene by fostering a space connecting electronic music heads across the city and hosting on-ground activations that go beyond the typical house music parties in the region, ‘’It’s a place for people to come together, dance and mingle –a community-based space where all partygoers can come together but leave as a family,’’ Joe Abou Rjaily, founder of ODAAT, tells SceneNoise.
The party’s lineup features ODAAT resident and Qatar-based Lebanese DJ/producer Laymoon, along with an eclectic b2b set, courtesy of local selectors Sery and Nammoura.
Doors open at 4 PM. The event is free entry with an optional liquid brunch at QAR 170. Walk-ins are welcomed, and for table booking and reservations, you can text or call +97450806554.
