Egyptian DJ & producer Moody Jones has recently swept the SoundCloud charts, taking over the number 1 spot on their dance charts with his latest single ‘Nightshifts’ ft. Brighton-based artist BluErnest. Jones has previously worked with the likes of Iggy Azalea and Tyga, marketing their work, from music video to merchandise. The producer excels in creating viral dance tunes, previously amassing more than three million views on ‘Gold Action’.
‘Nightshifts’ follows a four-on-the-floor kick pattern to create a steady groove for BluErnest to hop on fluently. The track is mellow melodically, utilizing easy-on-the-ear elements, which makes it an easy listen. Midway through the track, Jones briefly introduces an infectious lead melody which goes silent during the second breakdown, only to create havoc following the drop.
