You guessed it! Cocoon’s Visually Respond to Sound (VRS) is back for the eighth edition on Friday, 24th of June, with their biggest event to date. The highly regarded audio-visual concept began early last year, which saw five to six artists, DJs, producers, or instrumentalists offering their experimental and ethereal soundscapes as audience doodle and draw what they imagine sonically.

For the eight edition, Cocoon is joining forces with District 5 to create this art festivity, which sees EL Wailli, Abo Sahara, Aly Eissa, Luka Wel Bateekh, and Postdrone offer their fatidic sonic palettes for the eighth edition of VRS. Cocoon offers art supplies such as fabric, paper, colors, and even glow in the dark paint that participants can use to experiment with how they perceive the audio, visually. Cocoon also welcomes attendees to bring their own art supplies if they feel like it. Egyptian local brand Almah will have a booth set up, selling vintage and up-cycled clothing and accessories, offering fabrics for coloring experimentation, and collecting donations for the Egyptian Clothing Bank.

There are three ticketing options available: online for 300, on-door for 350, and children under 12 for 150. The event kicks off at 3PM till 10PM. For reservations, visit https://www.cocoonculture.org/shop/163902%3Flocale%3Den .
