Cairo-based party concept, Clubbing Purposes, will take over The Museum in Zamalek this weekend on January 26th. Clubbing Purposes’ three-folded activities include a record label, radio show and club nights, with their upcoming event marking the ninth installment of their party series.
This weekend’s birthday celebration is dedicated to the label-head and producer, DJ SHIHA. With ‘crystals’ being the main theme of the party, the glittering event will showcase the talents of the founder himself, alongside performances by Dutch/Brazilian producer and DJ YazzMin, as well as dynamic house maestro Omar Azaar.
“Drawing inspiration from the legacies of Ministry of Sound and Global Underground, Clubbing Purposes emerges as a pivotal force in the electronic music realm, redefining the clubbing experience with a global perspective.” Mahmoud Shiha, founder of Clubbing Purposes tells SceneNoise. “Clubbing Purposes has evolved from a monthly mix series into a beacon for a diverse array of club sounds, encompassing genres like Deep, Tech, House, Minimal, and Techno.”
