Amman Music Festival, Jordan’s newest open-air music festival, is set to launch its first edition from August 22nd to August 23rd with a massive lineup of regional acts.
For its inaugural edition, the festival is bringing together established and emerging Arab artists from almost every nation of the region across various genres, from rap and hip-hop to shaabi and indie-rock and more. The lineup features Egyptian rap icons like Marwan Moussa and Afroto, as well as electro-shaabi producer El Waili, along with Aziz Marka, Adonis, Autostrad, Rasha Nahas, Taffy, Hesham Raptor, Hala Sherif, Illiam and Yazan Haifawi.
Set to take place at famed open-air venue Bisharat Golf Driving Range, the festival is organized by Trip Productions in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board, with the aim of promoting the local and regional arts, culture and music scene. To this end, the festival will also feature a wide range of fun activities and art installations and exhibitions by local artists.
