Egyptian Trap/Mahraganat Artists R-Rhyme and Xiety 7 Team-Up for New Track ‘Mazda’
We might as well just start calling it 'trapraganat' because it's not going away anytime soon.

The runaway
train that is Egypt’s fusion of trap and mahraganat isn’t stopping anytime
soon. Aside from the scene’s heavyweights, there are countless young artists auto-tuning
their way into the spotlight. Two of them, R-Rhyme and Xiety 7, are certainly
no newbies and diehard fans of the genre will know them, the prolific Xiety 7 in particular, following his work with the likes of Wegz and Abyusif. For the rest of Egypt
and the Middle East, the two artists, who both produce and sing/rap on the regular,
have come together for ‘Mazda’. The track is uncluttered, it’s beat and bass deep and heavy. The proverbial bells and whistles that usually season a trap/mahraganat
track, meanwhile, are dialled own as the two ponder life in music .
