Adding to a growing discography over the past few years, Egyptian rapper Moscow is gaining a growing appreciation for his talent. Reliably alongside him has been emerging producer and guitarist Mahib Sleat, who has consistently provided beats for the rapper. The duo demonstrates comfortable understanding of each other’s dynamics in their collaborations, and show it once more in new single ‘Slow Mo’.Using dark synths with reverberated background vocals for a soulful feel, the use of a simple hi-hat pattern maintains Mahib Sleat’s minimal, slow-paced beat and maintains focus on Moscow's hard-hitting bars. The rapper’s lyrics speak of having one’s own back and relying on yourself in the absence of support are told without autotune and received with crystal clarity.
