Metro Beirut Records has released a compilation beat tape titled ‘Beats from the Levant: A Tape for Support’, in solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine.

The album features contributions from various Levantine artists who remain anonymous - a decision by the label to emphasise the collective nature of the project and its focus on the cause rather than individual recognition. The beat tape reinterprets the region’s musical heritage, including classics by Fairuz and other influential artists.

Released primarily on Bandcamp, half of the proceeds will be directed to relief efforts in Lebanon, while the other half will support Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP). This project seeks to intertwine personal narratives, unique artistic paths, and a shared sense of resilience, underscoring the power of art during times of hardship.
