What began as a low-key video-series amongst friends turned into an essential showcase of underground and experimental music, looking beyond mainstream genres like house and techno keeping their focus on niche genres and left-field explorations of the electronic music spectrum. Following the success of their first compilation album, IRSH has recently announced the long awaited ‘did you mean: Irish vol. 2’ with many returning artists as well as a host of new cadets joining up for the sequel.

IRSH's video-series was an intimate, open-format back-2-back session featuring some of the scene’s fan-favorites with fresh blood joining the exciting music extravaganza. Each DJ receives 8-10 minutes to showcase their thumping selections, a signature for the IRSH direction. Previous renditions saw the likes of BLTNM’s Shabmouri and Al Nather, Assyouti, $$$TAG$$$, Bashar Suleiman aka Lil Asaf, 3Phaz, El Kontessa, and much more local and international guests have since been featured on IRSH's streams.

ABADIR, El Kontessa, 3Phaz, ZULI, and Itfll are returning for the second edition, being joined by the debut collab between Yaseen and Dakn, Assyouti, Liliane Chlela, Ashrar, Islam Elnabawi, Seleem El Sadek, and Postdrone, having visual artist Yazan Al Zubi create their striking artwork. Releasing ABADIR’s ‘Kabbut’ featuring ZULI and 3Phaz, the track gives off the notion of what to expect from this album. A thumping grime track, the iconic trio offer a well-balanced, perfectly distorted sonic madness, with eerie vocal chops, hard-hitting kicks, and ZULI’s signature bass-sound with 3Phaz’s typical sonic direction with sound design.

The long-awaited compilation is released on the 8th of July, so expect the unexpected with the eclectic sharks. Tune into ABADIR’s ‘Kabbut’ featuring ZULI and 3Phaz below.
