Featuring Lebanese multi-instrumentalist and producer Zeid Hamdan alongside Syrian singer Lynn Adib, the musical duo Bedouin Burger are back with a new single, ‘Nomad.’ Driven by Hamdan’s lush, intricate strings and Lynn’s powerful vocals, the duo is once again taking their radically different sounds to a new realm.

Hamdan is one of the pioneering voices of Arabic underground music, known widely for his indie-electro pop band Soap Kills. In the time since, he collaborated with many more Arab artists, including Egyptian artists Maryam Saleh and Mai Waleed, in addition to the Jordanian band El Morabba3. In 2019  he teamed up with Adib, who comes from a classical musical background, and mirrors his continuously daring collaborations.

‘Nomad’ sees Hamdan’s stunning guitar strums and Adib’s soulful vocals combining to create a melancholic sound throughout the track, and mournful lyricism. Since their debut release, ‘Taht El Wared’ in 2020, Bedouin Burger have been experimenting with their music as much as their name, creating an eclectic fusion of Middle Eastern sonics and electric melodies. Yet, ‘Nomad’ is to date their most toned-down release, whereas ‘Dabkeh’ brought an obvious contrast between the flute and electronic music and ‘Zamel’ brought a clear bedouin sound.
