This year Lebanese band, Mashrou’ Leila, proudly celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Now, it would be easy to do a typical 'Top 10 Mashrou' Leila something something' list tracking their best track, for example. However, we're taking the chance to dig a little deeper and bring you something that not everyone has seen or heard - the band's brilliant covers.

Having been born of a late night jam session at the American University in Beirut in 2008, the band have come to be one of the most popular acts in the whole the Middle East, while also gaining plenty of attention from further abroad for their unflinching approach in addressing topics like religious freedom and the LGBT community in a region that usually does not.

But sometimes the guys also just like to have fun and give us the opportunity to discover our (secret) favourite songs with an Arabic twist.
