Since childhood, Sudanese artist Alsarah has been influenced by global cultures, having lived in countries such as Yemen, Spain, the U.S and Egypt at various points of her life. However, her Sudanese heritage has been a pillar of her upbringing, and subsequently her music, as her family’s pride and appreciation of the culture lived on in their homes.
The artist came to critical acclaim with her act Alsarah and The Nubatones, but now, Alsarah has taken a change in direction, focusing on her solo career with her latest release ‘Farasha’.
