PHIL

PHIL started spinning at local pubs and clubs aged 16. He later joined the leading radio station and promoter MIX FM Lebanon and launched “Friday Night Mix” in 2010. His sets were widely received whether he played at the biggest clubs in Lebanon, beach resorts in Jordan or underground bars in Paris. Inspired by a mixture of music, sights, DJs, friends and urban living, Phil's raw and emotive sound is distinctly recognised by its deep funky instrumentation, old school taste, piano hooks, chopped vocals - all keeping it jackin' and soulful. In 2011, Phil joined his fellow DJs Ronin & Nesta on their Beirut In the Mix journey establishing solid residencies around the city and spreading around their love for house. He played alongside rising talents and established names on the international circuit namely the likes of Tale Of Us, Marco Carola, Martin Buttrich, Luciano, Art Department, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Max Cooper, Nhar, Gunnar Stiller, James Zabiela, Lee Foss, Adam Port, Blond:ish, Djebali, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky, Dan Ghenacia, David Squillace, Steve Lawler, Hold Youth, Tolga Fidan, Gui Boratto to name a few.
