Known as the musician who brought jazz-fusion to Jordan, Faqir has been in the business for 28 years now. Coming from a family with a strong musical background, music in general and jazz in particular has always been his passion. As part of Faculty-X he started the first jazz-fusion band in Amman in order to introduce the genre to the Jordanian scene. He works on a variety of projects including the "One Heart" project, a worldwide jazz collaboration that unites musicians from all over the world and solo-albums.
