As Cairo’s biggest electronic music record label to date, Besworx not only aims to pick up high quality releases, but also exhibit its up and coming and established talents from the Middle East via its Bescast podcast. For those who didn’t know, Bes was an ancient Egyptian dwarf god and was associated with sexuality, humour, music and dancing (now you know what Besworx is all about).

For the latest episode of Bescast, label boss Amr Mohey gets a curated set from Lebanon’s significant house and techno DJ Rolbac, who’s known for his stylish, dubbed out sound.

It’s a one hour odyssey through different shades inside the dub house spectrum, with an occasional surfacing of acidic bleeps and mini growls. DJ Koze’s Remix for Roman Flugel’s "9 Years" is the track of choice for Rolbac, with which he closes this sensational set in a mellow way.
