Mostakell Records is an independent record label based in Cairo, dedicated to finding and promoting alternative Arabic music with creative integrity to people who are looking to dig deeper into the Middle Eastern music scene. Mostakell will be curating monthly playlists for us, amassing a selection of tracks from what they consider to be the most interesting and perhaps lesser known bands of the MENA alternative music scene, those both known and unknown yet worthy of recognition.
