Massive Scar Era aka Mascara are a unique blend of heavy guitar riffing, aggressive female vocals and a violin. The Egyptian post hardcore group started as an all-girl band in 2005 despite social restrictions. By 2009, they managed to break through to the international stage with appearances in the US and Europe and have recently released their latest EP 'Comes Around You.'
